Minjin Chae is a Doctoral Student in Sociology. She is interested in identifying the opportunities and risks brought by ongoing labor market transformation (e.g., automation) for employees’ personal/family life and their variations shaped by gender, race, and class. Particularly, she plans to examine how different occupational tasks and organizational practices lead to different levels and types of control employees have over their work schedule and hour. She received her BA in History Education and Business Administration from Seoul National University. She completed her MA in sociology from the same institution.
